Over the last year I’ve read many a great article on what it takes to identify the ideal candidate for a customer success role – the art and science, the tasks vs the strategy – many wise words.
The truth is this is a complex challenge we all face, whether seeking to understand how we excel as individual contributors, or how we can be better leaders to build a great team. After hiring and working with dozens at this stage in my career – I wanted to share three simple keys, or really three core “traits” that you should find in any effective customer success professional.
